The Brief

The aim of this section of Media A2, is to produce a marketing campaign for a new, unsigned music artist, which will consist of:
  • A full length promo video for a new track
  • A homepage for the artists' website
  • A digi-pak CD design (fold out design with front cover, back cover, interior packaging)

This Blog has been created to keep track and showcase all work covered from the start of this production, it's an ongoing blog which will be updated with every input towards the final piece.

As this production is concentrated in the music industry, this blog will also look at related topics in the field of music production, such as "current issues in the music industry", "history of pop music","differences between past and contemporary music industry", "theories about music audiences and subcultures" audience research for the artist, case studies of contemporary music marketing campaigns, issues of representation in controversial videos and many more.
